In addition to our extensive BBQ fare, we offer a wide selection of grilled steaks and various roasted meats, fish and wide selection of fresh veggies. All, smoking is done on site in our brand new state of the art kitchen.

We are located in historic Hudson, New York. The restaurant is a masterfully renovated firehouse, formerly known as the H. Rogers Hose Company. It is the second oldest volunteer fire department in New York State, chartered in 1795. The firehouse has been carefully restored to highlight the original brick walls, wood floors and original grand wooden staircase. The first floor houses a spacious lively bar, casual dining area and entertainment stage for showcasing musicians and bands. The second floor houses a spacious dining room with seating for 60 and provides a more "non bar like", relaxed atmosphere for family dining. We also have a separate private billiards room with a working fireplace and large screen TV for watching the game. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a fun scene and the aroma of BBQ in all the glory of Americana...It's awesome!
Over the years, I have traveled through almost all of the USA. While doing
so, I've had the pleasure of eating in some of America's best smokehouses,
Pit- Shacks, Rib Joints, Roadhouses and Mom & Pop Restaurants in this
glorious country. I love BBQ, and good old American comfort food, whether in Hill Country Texas
chomping on juicy brisket or in Ole Memphis Tennessee savoring the best hickory
smoked pulled pork or at a counter in a smoke-stained roadhouse in
St. Louis, ripping into a slab of hand trimmed ribs or at a little hole in
the wall in the New Orleans French Quarter munching on hot pork crackling with
a glass of Kentucky Bourbon, or high up in the Catskills Mountains savoring
smoke house sausages on a paper dish outside the local smoke house. Yes, I have
been known to stop at many a roadside BBQ (my wife hates when I do that).
You would be surprised at what you learn at these spots.
The Vibe | We have a daily after work happy hour, and a variety of other fun evening events such as Ladies night, interactive Trivia, Open Mic. and Billiards. We book live entertainment on most weekends. Weather permitting our huge front firehouse door is open providing an indoor-outdoor experience from the bar right onto Warren Street.
The Bar | We have a custom 30 foot bar, and offer an array of locally brewed craft beer including our own. All our draft beer is pulled from our frost covered beer towers. Suffice to say, we have the coldest beer in the county!!!! We also offer a nice selection of locally distilled artesian sprits such as Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, Gin and Absinthe. In addition to the locally distilled spirits, we also offer a very large selection of imported Tequilas, and fine Brown Whiskeys. Our bartenders mix up a variety of “big drink” specials that are served in huge mason jars.
We are a musician friendly environment and provide a state of the art sound system for visiting musicians. You just need to walk in, and plug in. Our house music is awesome, rich in 60-70’s classics, with a strong overtone of acoustic singer songwriters like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce, Springsteen, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash and their contemporaries.
Curbside pick- up | We try to make your Take-Out experience quick, easy and convenient. Just call in your order, give us about 15 minutes, and then just give us a call from your cell phone when you’re outside. Don’t bother parking, just pull into our designated loading zone on Warren Street, and we will bring out your order to you.
My travels have taken me to the best BBQ joints with regional flavors representing all parts of the USA and I now offer them to you.
